molly still uses phone number to signup which is privacy issue please try ” session massage ” which is also fork of signal.
it uses long string random id which is does have any connection to your real life identity.

no trackers on the website, no ads, no business model, subscription fees behind it – based on donations. Not sure whether one needs a mobile number in order to use it, but apart from that, Molly is pretty much trade-free.
