Kali Linux advertises the Amazon Marketplace on its website: https://www.kali.org/get-kali/#kali-cloud
It also uses Google as the default search engine and advertises Facebook, Amazon and YouTube when you open a new tab (https://www.directory.trade-free.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/kali-linux-firefox.jpg). That makes it clearly not trade-free.
