Liblouis este un traducător și traducător de tip braille open-source, numit în onoarea lui Louis Braille. Acesta oferă suport pentru computer și braille literar, acceptă traducerea contractată și necontractată pentru multe limbi și are suport pentru silabe. Noile limbi pot fi adăugate cu ușurință prin tabele care acceptă o abordare bazată pe reguli sau dicționar. Sunt incluse și instrumente pentru testarea și depanarea tabelelor. Liblouis acceptă și braille matematic (Nemeth și Marburg).
